It ensures that IARs stay current on best practices, standards, and regulations related to investment advice.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"prodName\">Requirements<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>IARs must complete training on an annual basis and earn the following credits:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>6 credits in the area of Products and Practices<\/li>\n<li>6 credits in the area of Ethics and Professional Responsibility<\/li>\n<li>These courses must be delivered by a CE provider approved by both NASAA and Prometric like Securities Training Corporation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Dually Registered IARs<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>An IAR registered with a FINRA member firm and compliant with FINRA&#8217;s Regulatory Element CE requirements meets the six-credit Products and Practices content requirement.
